What you will do

• Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems for both Canadian and US employees.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and system setup.
• Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local employment laws and best practices in Canada and the US.
• Process US and Canadian payroll and manage benefits administration.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and internal communications to promote an inclusive culture.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Human Resources.
• Proven experience in employee relations, payroll, and tax knowledge.
• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
• Must permanently reside in Canada.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Nice to have

• Strong knowledge of both Canadian and US HR practices.
