TL;DR

Service Desk Analyst (Health IT): Providing L1 and L2 support for hardware and software within a healthcare environment with an accent on endpoint management and network troubleshooting. Focus on resolving desktop/laptop hardware issues, system deployments, and maintaining support documentation.

Location: Onsite at St Clair Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA

Salary: $22.00 per hour

What you will do

  • Provide level one and level two support for IS-supported hardware and software.
  • Perform imaging, installations, configurations, and deployment of systems.
  • Identify and resolve desktop/laptop hardware problems and escalate tickets appropriately.
  • Execute initial network troubleshooting and proactively manage endpoints.
  • Create and maintain support documentation for customers and internal departmental use.
  • Assist with Intranet web page updates and manage assigned projects.

Requirements

  • BA or BS Degree and/or relevant business experience.
  • Must be based in Pittsburgh, PA for onsite work.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Health IT or a highly regulated environment.
  • Strong networking background is required.
  • Availability for rotating shifts (7 AM - 3 PM and 3 PM - 11 PM), including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to provide occasional after-hours, on-call, or holiday support.

Nice to have

  • Relevant IT Certifications.
  • 1-4 years of experience in information technology management from a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of network security.
