What you will do

  • Provide Tier 1 support for networking, servers, databases, and PC applications across health system facilities.
  • Install and rack network/security appliances, manage data cabling, and monitor UPS/backup power.
  • Troubleshoot Windows operating systems and support legacy servers and system consolidation projects.
  • Manage IT inventory using Workday and ServiceNow, ensuring accurate perpetual counts and reorder levels.
  • Coordinate with Tier 2/3 engineers to resolve moderately complex infrastructure and security threats.
  • Support video conferencing equipment and provide training to the Service Desk.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science OR High School diploma with 2 years of networking/server experience.
  • Must be located in or able to work onsite in Morgantown, West Virginia.
  • Generalist knowledge of IT infrastructure (Servers, Networks, Security, PCs).
  • Mid-level proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Windows 7 and Windows 10.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and travel to remote sites independently.

Nice to have

  • CompTIA Network+, Security+, or Server+ certifications.
  • Experience with ticketing software and change management processes.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and EHR (Electronic Health Record) applications.
