What you will do

• Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including SaaS, cloud licensing, data partnerships, and customer contracts.
• Provide legal advice on UK GDPR and broader data protection laws, including drafting Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).
• Advise on intellectual property matters, AI-generated outputs, data usage rights, and open-source licensing.
• Navigate emerging AI regulatory frameworks and work with product teams on compliant development.
• Partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to support the deal cycle from structuring to close.
• Develop and maintain contract templates and playbooks to ensure efficient deal execution.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with 3–7 years’ PQE (UK or equivalent jurisdiction).
• Strong experience in commercial contracting and a solid grounding in data protection/privacy law (UK GDPR).
• Experience working with technology companies or digital products.
• Ability to work from the London office 1-2 days per week.
• Familiarity with international data transfer frameworks and multi-jurisdictional transactions.
