LADC Counselor (Behavioral Health)

LADC Counselor (Behavioral Health): Assist patients in overcoming substance use disorders through individual and group counseling sessions with an accent on treatment planning, emotional support, and rehabilitation. Location: Brainerd, MN, USA (Remote, Hybrid, or Onsite; must have active ADC or LADC in the state of MN)

Compensation: $27.00 - 31.00/hr + Bonus

What you will do

• Conduct regular alcohol and drug abuse counseling sessions and group sessions.
• Orient patients to treatment programs and collect social, educational, economic, and vocational assessments.
• Develop and revise patient treatment plans while maintaining comprehensive records.
• Provide crisis intervention, intake services, and supportive follow-up counseling.
• Coordinate care with community providers and make appropriate referrals.
• Participate in in-service training, program implementation, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Must have an active ADC or LADC in the state of MN
• Knowledge of substance abuse population, treatment planning, and human social services
• Ability to handle confidential issues, make decisions under stress, and demonstrate understanding of human behavior for patient rehabilitation
• Compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding certification and licensure
• Experience in behavioral health preferred
