Location: Primarily remote across all US states and territories. Employment eligibility to work in the United States required. The company does not sponsor employment visas. Occasional travel for team meetings may be required.
Salary: $35 to $40 hourly

What you will do
- Review prescriptions, medical records, and documentation to develop patient-specific narratives supporting medical necessity for prior authorizations.
- Prepare, submit, and follow up on prior authorization requests and in-network gap exceptions to Medicare Advantage, Managed Medicaid, and Commercial insurers.
- Negotiate Single Case Agreements, shepherd through contract execution, and document all case information.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with intake, clinical, RCM, and commercial teams to optimize patient experience and share best practices.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, payer requirements, and report product quality issues.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; AA, BA, or BS desirable.
- Minimum three years experience in healthcare (medical devices, insurance, or services) with prior authorization submissions and appeals.
- Competency in Salesforce, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Deep understanding of market access, reimbursement, payer landscapes, insurance types (HMO, POS, D-SNP), and coordination of benefits.
- Employment eligibility to work in the United States required; no visa sponsorship.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and independent case management skills.
