What you will do

  • Run focused discovery with builders to understand plan workflows, sales processes, estimating, and launch timelines.
  • Deliver clear, workflow-driven demos showing how to sell, estimate, and launch homes more effectively.
  • Own fast, transactional sales cycles from warm handoffs through objection handling, ROI storytelling, and follow-up.
  • Act as hybrid sales engineer tailoring conversations to regional builders grounded in real homebuilding realities.
  • Build pipeline via targeted outreach, partner relationships, HBAs, regional groups, and industry events.
  • Surface trends, competitive insights, and field feedback to sharpen messaging and inform product roadmap.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in homebuilding, residential construction, building products, or related field
  • End-to-end sales experience with track record exceeding quota
  • Wide local network in Columbus area
  • Scrappy entrepreneurial mindset for building new sales motion
  • Ability to learn software quickly and engage confidently with senior decision-makers
  • Willingness to travel locally/regionally up to 25%

Nice to have

  • Customer Success and/or Sales Engineering experience
