TL;DR

Head of HR Operations (HR Operations): Leading the development and execution of the HR Operations strategy to deliver efficient and scalable people services with an accent on governance, compliance, and operational excellence. Focus on optimizing HR helpdesk, payroll provision, and integrating HR technology to enhance the employee experience.

Location: Commutable distance to London / Winchester (UK)

Salary: Up to £80,000 + 15% bonus

What you will do

  • Lead the development and execution of the HR Operations vision and strategy to impact P&C outcomes.
  • Oversee the delivery of HR services, including the helpdesk, case management, and payroll provision.
  • Ensure strict governance, compliance, and risk management across all HR operational processes and employment law.
  • Drive continuous improvement in HR technology and operational processes.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with Trade Unions and Employee Representatives.
  • Facilitate organizational design changes to ensure legal compliance and minimize business disruption.

Requirements

  • CIPD Level 7 qualification (or equivalent experience) is required.
  • Extensive experience in HR operations leadership.
  • Expertise in HR case management, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Strong proficiency in strategic thinking, risk management, and stakeholder management.
  • Must be located within commutable distance to London or Winchester.
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is highly advantageous.
