What you will do

  • Own the end-to-end People Operations lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, contracts, and benefits administration.
  • Partner with the People team to deliver core programs such as performance reviews, compensation cycles, and engagement surveys.
  • Build and refine scalable processes, workflows, and self-service experiences to reduce manual friction.
  • Maintain accurate people data in BambooHR and provide reporting visibility to the wider team.
  • Ensure compliance and audit-readiness across all HR systems, documentation, and employee records.
  • Collaborate with Finance, IT, and external vendors to manage payroll inputs and EOR processes.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the UK, Romania, Portugal, or Poland.
  • Proven experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or as an HR Generalist.
  • Strong proficiency with HR systems, spreadsheets, and data management.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and improve operational workflows and processes.
  • Hands-on approach with a proactive mindset toward identifying and fixing gaps.
  • Strong empathy and judgment when handling sensitive employee matters.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a tech or scaling environment.
  • Familiarity with UK or EMEA employment practices.
  • Experience with BambooHR or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Background in supporting remote or globally distributed teams.
  • Exposure to vendor management, payroll, or EOR models.
