Customer Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote (USA). This is a field-based role requiring up to 50% travel to client sites.

What you will do

• Partner with sales to deliver technical expertise, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) during pre-sales.
• Conduct security assessments and address compliance requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2) to drive deal closures.
• Collaborate with Customer Success managers to streamline client onboarding and recommend best practices for AI security deployments.
• Support incident response planning and develop operational tools and documentation to scale security operations.
• Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and conferences as a cybersecurity expert.
• Develop deep knowledge of Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure to deliver integrated MDR offerings.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
• 5+ years in a customer-facing role (e.g., Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Consultant).
• Strong understanding of SIEM, SOAR, Threat Intelligence, and UEBA platforms.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google SecOps or Microsoft Sentinel.
• Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
