What you will do

• Own technical direction and architecture for member-facing web, mobile, and integration applications across 25–35 engineers.
• Drive end-to-end delivery accountability, predictability, and metrics like PR throughput, defect rates, and test coverage.
• Serve as senior engineering contact for strategic clients, translating technical decisions into business language.
• Lead 3–5 engineering managers with performance management, hiring, calibration, and career development.
• Build AI-native practices including micro-sprints, AI-assisted decisions, and responsible AI use in regulated environments.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and CDO on scoping, risk management, and cross-functional delivery.

Requirements

• 12+ years software engineering experience, including 5+ years engineering leadership managing teams/managers
• Proven end-to-end delivery of complex enterprise SaaS in B2B/B2B2C, especially health tech or HIPAA/PIPEDA environments
• Architectural fluency in cloud-native (GCP preferred), microservices, full-stack (Go, React, Android/iOS)
• Active AI tool use in workflows; strong executive presence and client communication
• Experience with delivery partners, offshore teams, or hybrid models

• Health tech or regulated healthcare SaaS experience
