Technical Recruiter (AI): Own full-cycle hiring across technical and client-facing roles like Forward Deployed Engineers, AI Strategists, and Engagement Managers with an accent on sourcing high-caliber talent through creative channels and building scalable recruiting systems. Focus on partnering with leadership to define strategies, conducting in-depth screenings for technical depth and builder mindset, and scaling the talent function from 20 to 100+ while optimizing ATS and tracking metrics.

Location: Onsite in New York City five days a week

Salary: Contract to hire, $45–$55/hour starting, $100K–$115K upon conversion + performance bonus

What you will do

• Own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles (Forward Deployed Engineers) and client-facing roles (AI Strategists, Engagement Managers)
• Source candidates via creative, non-traditional channels and close them in competitive NYC market
• Partner with hiring managers to define role profiles, strategies, and conduct screenings assessing technical depth, client skills, and cultural fit
• Drive exceptional candidate experience from sourcing to offer
• Optimize ATS (Ashby), build processes, develop sourcing strategies for niche roles, and track metrics like time-to-fill
• Contribute to employer branding and stay ahead of AI and NYC tech talent trends

Requirements

• 2–4 years full-cycle recruiting experience (startup/high-growth preferred)
• Proven sourcing and closing of technical talent
• Experience hiring client-facing or hybrid roles
• Strong sourcing skills and judgment for technical capability plus cultural fit
• Excellent communication to influence stakeholders and sell to candidates
• High ownership in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
