What you will do
- Develop and implement 3–6 month marketing strategies aligning artist brand with commercial goals.
- Collaborate with artists and managers to translate creative visions into actionable long-term plans.
- Oversee project lifecycles from single rollouts to album releases, including global coordination.
- Brief and manage data-driven paid advertising campaigns for efficient audience targeting.
- Partner with creative leads on visual identities and content for social/digital platforms.
- Monitor DSP data and trends to optimize campaigns; lead e-commerce/D2C strategies for fan engagement.
- Guide marketing team and act as deputy to Head of Domestic Artist Strategy.
Requirements
- At least 5 years manager-level marketing experience in music industry, record label, or creative environment.
- Deep understanding of ANZ music landscape and audience discovery/engagement.
- Strong relationship-building with artists, managers, and stakeholders.
- Highly organized with ability to manage high-volume roster and tight deadlines.
- Expertise in marketing financials: planning, managing, reconciling budgets.
- Excellent communication and copywriting skills for strategic presentations.
Nice to have
- Background in music touring or publishing.
- Experience with Chartmetric, Soundcharts, or Asana.
- Interest in emerging technologies like AI for music marketing.
