What you will do

  • Develop and implement 3–6 month marketing strategies aligning artist brand with commercial goals.
  • Collaborate with artists and managers to translate creative visions into actionable long-term plans.
  • Oversee project lifecycles from single rollouts to album releases, including global coordination.
  • Brief and manage data-driven paid advertising campaigns for efficient audience targeting.
  • Partner with creative leads on visual identities and content for social/digital platforms.
  • Monitor DSP data and trends to optimize campaigns; lead e-commerce/D2C strategies for fan engagement.
  • Guide marketing team and act as deputy to Head of Domestic Artist Strategy.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years manager-level marketing experience in music industry, record label, or creative environment.
  • Deep understanding of ANZ music landscape and audience discovery/engagement.
  • Strong relationship-building with artists, managers, and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with ability to manage high-volume roster and tight deadlines.
  • Expertise in marketing financials: planning, managing, reconciling budgets.
  • Excellent communication and copywriting skills for strategic presentations.

Nice to have

  • Background in music touring or publishing.
  • Experience with Chartmetric, Soundcharts, or Asana.
  • Interest in emerging technologies like AI for music marketing.
