What you will do

• Architect and lead development of secure, reliable, scalable backend systems
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and establish coding standards across teams
• Partner with product, design, and engineering leadership to align technical strategy with business goals
• Drive system performance, scalability, reliability, and developer experience improvements
• Own end-to-end complex projects from architecture to deployment and optimization
• Contribute to technical roadmap and identify innovation opportunities

Requirements

• Exceptional proficiency in Go (primary), Java, Python or similar
• Extensive experience architecting complex distributed systems and advanced design patterns
• Proven track record delivering mission-critical systems at massive scale
• Advanced knowledge of data structures, algorithms, performance optimization
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, IaC)
• Exceptional troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
• 8+ years professional software engineering experience

• Experience building/scaling financial platforms or foundational systems
• Leading architectural migrations or system modernizations
• Expertise in observability, SRE, event-driven architectures, streaming
• Open source contributions, publications, or speaking
