What you will do

• Lead project initiatives to drive process improvements and embed tax solutions across the organization.
• Design and test enhancements for tax engines and controls in partnership with IT and finance operations.
• Implement efficient, scalable, and automated compliance processes for VAT, GST, and WHT across EMEA.
• Develop insightful tax reports to identify risks, anomalies, and support strategic business decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R2R, O2C, AP) and local finance teams to optimize reporting.
• Support the professional development and capability building of Tax Analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, tax, or a related field.
• Professional experience in indirect tax within a multinational organization or professional services firm.
• Strong understanding of indirect and withholding tax regulations in key EMEA territories.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and tax engines such as ONESOURCE.
• Must be based in the UK for a hybrid work arrangement.
• Fluent in English with the ability to communicate complex tax issues to non-experts.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in an additional European language such as French, German, Italian, or Spanish.
• Experience creating and managing compliance calendars and process documentation.
• Familiarity with XML log analysis and the creation of test scripts.
• Knowledge of GAAP-to-tax adjustments and journal entries.
