Salary: $129,000 – $190,000 USD / $149,500 – $176,000 CAD

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable A/B tests and causal inference models to optimize registration and retention.
• Build automation tools for experimentation and segmentation to accelerate hypothesis testing.
• Develop predictive models to improve trial-to-subscription conversion and reduce churn.
• Analyze behavioral and geospatial data to identify user segments and personalize experiences.
• Partner with product, marketing, and engineering teams to translate insights into growth strategies.
• Mentor the data science team on best practices for ML and AI-native development.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in data science or ML, specifically in growth and user retention.
• Strong expertise in causal inference, A/B testing, and statistical modeling.
• Proficiency in Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow) and SQL.
• Experience with big data tools like Spark, AWS, and Databricks.
• Must be based in the US or Canada.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (CS, Stats, Math, etc.).

Nice to have

• Experience with subscription-based products or lifecycle marketing.
• Knowledge of geospatial data and mobile location-based services.
• Familiarity with Bayesian modeling, uplift modeling, and reinforcement learning.
• Experience with workflow automation for DS operations.
