What you will do

• Lead ML data scientists through the full lifecycle from experimentation and development to evaluation and monitoring.
• Translate business problems into framed ML solutions and define success metrics.
• Design and maintain feature engineering pipelines for model development.
• Ensure statistical rigor in experiment design and evaluation before and after launch.
• Monitor production model quality, detect data drift, and manage retraining cycles.
• Mentor, coach, and hire ML talent while performing technical design and code reviews.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building and deploying production machine learning systems.
• 2+ years of experience mentoring and managing ML teams.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Deep understanding of ML fundamentals, model selection, and evaluation methodology.
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch, scikit-learn, and XGBoost.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience building fraud detection or risk assessment systems.
• Expertise with cloud ML platforms, particularly AWS SageMaker.
• Experience with graph data and graph-based models (e.g., PyTorch Geometric).
• Knowledge of model monitoring and observability tooling such as Arize.
