Senior Principal Cyber Engineer

Location: Onsite at a customer site in Sterling, Virginia; this position is not relocation eligible.

Salary: $122,000–$253,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop high-impact native applications for Android and other mobile platforms.
• Integrate reverse-engineering results into development products.
• Solve real-time cyber challenges while working with end users at a customer site.
• Support development objectives and customer requirements across mobile platforms.
• Collaborate with engineers working in vulnerability research, reverse engineering, CNO/CNE development, hardware emulation, systems engineering, and data analytics.

Requirements

• Current TS/SCI clearance is required.
• At least 10 years of experience in cyber tool development using C/C++ on Unix/Linux platforms.
• Experience with Make/CMake build systems and large open-source projects such as AOSP.
• Experience developing for Android or another mobile platform.
• Familiarity with static decompilers such as Hex-Rays and disassemblers such as Ghidra.
• A degree in a technical discipline is required.

Nice to have

• Team or task leadership experience.
• Understanding of CNE techniques and methodologies on Android and Linux.
• Experience with ARM64/ARM32 architecture and reverse engineering ARM binaries.
• Experience developing proof-of-concept exploit software.
• Familiarity with Git and Atlassian products such as Bitbucket, Bamboo, and JIRA.
