TL;DR
Senior Cybersecurity Program Analyst (Cybersecurity): Ensuring AF Distributed Common Ground System deliverables, documentation, and processes comply with DoD and Air Force cybersecurity law, regulation, and policy with an accent on RMF, vulnerability management, and security compliance. Focus on auditing cybersecurity data and configurations, resolving compliance gaps, assessing system risks, and implementing INFOSEC, PKI, STIG, and disaster recovery requirements.

Location: Palmdale, California, United States; Workplace: On-site

Salary: $140,000–$180,000 annually

What you will do

  • Maintain cybersecurity data and reporting required by DoD and Air Force law, regulation, and policy.
  • Identify compliance gaps, develop corrective action plans, communicate status to leadership, and track implementation.
  • Audit cybersecurity information, system configurations, data sources, and security artifacts to identify risks and issues.
  • Support Risk Management Framework assessment and authorization activities, system audits, and quality checks.
  • Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments, review source code scanning reports, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Develop contingency plans, disaster recovery procedures, PKI-enabling methods, and cybersecurity requirements for acquisitions and system design.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Information Systems with 10 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Defense Acquisition System processes, including UCA, MTA, MCA, software acquisition, and acquisition of services.
  • Required familiarity with DoD Security Requirements Guides and Security Technical Implementation Guides.
  • In-depth knowledge of DISA policy and guidance.
  • Experience with Air Force networking concepts, network security, cybersecurity risk management, and vulnerability mitigation.

Nice to have

  • CompTIA Security+ or SecurityX certification.
