What you will do

• Lead a team of engineers to deliver scalable data solutions, ensuring accuracy, cloud strategies, and professional growth.
• Develop and maintain actuarial capabilities like portfolio re-rating processes using Python in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with actuaries to structure data for pricing analytics, automation, and ingestion into governed ecosystems.
• Drive innovation by optimizing workflows, adopting advanced analytics, and automating processes for efficiency.
• Establish data governance protocols for compliance, security, and alignment with business KPIs.
• Align data strategies with business objectives and provide training on pricing technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Analytics or related field
• 5+ years in solution/data engineering or analysis; 3+ years Python development with clean code
• Proven experience managing and mentoring technical teams
• Knowledge of data manipulation, ingestion patterns, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI
• Experience in actuarial/research field supporting advanced analytics; familiarity with insurance data and regulations
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication skills; track record in large-scale data projects
