Technical Business Analyst (EdTech)

Location: Remote, but must be based in the Pacific Northwest (US) and work in the Pacific Time Zone. Occasional travel (10-15%) to client sites and offices is required.

Salary: $70,000 - $95,000

What you will do

• Lead functional and technical requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders.
• Create detailed functional specifications and system documentation for development and QA teams.
• Develop wireframes and prototypes using tools like Axure RP.
• Coordinate with engineering and QA teams to plan and execute test processes and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Perform product troubleshooting, triage defects, and manage them through to release.
• Deliver internal "Train the Trainer" sessions for new feature rollouts.

Requirements

• Must be based in the Pacific Northwest (US) and work in the Pacific Time Zone.
• Ability to create comprehensive requirements specifications, process diagrams, and implementation plans.
• Strong experience with SDLC and QA methodologies, standards, and best practices.
• Proven ability to analyze data and articulate problem statements from diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Work authorization: PCG does not sponsor H-1B or other foreign national workers.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of business analysis or product design experience.
• Knowledge of EdTech or Case Management systems.
• Experience with Axure RP or similar prototyping tools.
• Proficiency with Jira, Asana, or Monday.com.
• UI/UX certification or experience.
