TL;DR

Senior EDI Analyst (Healthcare): Serve as subject matter expert on NCPDP standards within payer EDI business product team with an accent on healthcare data exchange processes and pharmacy standards. Focus on contributing to VHA Payer EDI NCPDP standards development, providing guidance on technical and functional issues, and collaborating with EDI and technical SMEs.

Location: Full-time remote (US, Washington, D.C. area). The ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance required.

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 a year

What you will do

  • Serve as expert on NCPDP standards within the payer EDI business product team.
  • Contribute to development of VHA Payer EDI NCPDP standards through participation in integrated project teams.
  • Collaborate with EDI SMEs and technical SMEs as part of the development team.
  • Provide insights and guidance to project staff on NCPDP technical and functional issues related to pharmacy standards.
  • Define requirements and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 8 years total experience, including 4+ years in EDI technical position in healthcare organization
  • Expert in NCPDP standards and their application in healthcare data exchange
  • Extensive experience in healthcare data exchange processes
  • Ability to communicate clearly with business and technical stakeholders; excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience in Agile environment
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance
