What you will do

• Lead end-to-end network deployment programs, including optical networks, from installation through turn-up and customer acceptance
• Manage deployment schedules by aligning field activities, materials, and resources using structured project practices
• Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Field Services, and external partners for seamless execution
• Identify, manage, and mitigate risks related to site readiness, safety, logistics, access, and compliance
• Provide status updates on schedule, risks, and costs to customers and stakeholders
• Drive issue resolution while building trust-based customer relationships
• Champion safety, quality, and continuous improvement throughout the lifecycle

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, telecommunications, or related field
• 5+ years managing large-scale network or infrastructure deployment projects in optical or transport environments
• Experience coordinating field teams, subcontractors, and vendors across multiple sites
• Knowledge of network deployment lifecycles, site readiness, and acceptance processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tools
• Strong customer-facing communication skills across cultures and functions

Nice to have

• Experience with DWDM or OTN technologies
• Familiarity with Japan deployment practices, site access, and regulations
• PMP or equivalent certification
• Experience in commissioning, testing, and customer acceptance
• Multi-vendor or multi-technology rollout programs
