System Integration Engineer Ld (Healthcare)

Location: Rosedale Office Building, Fort Worth, Texas, United States. First shift, 40 standard weekly hours.

What you will do

• Develop, test, maintain, install, and debug interoperability solutions, interface builds, middleware tools, and related technologies.
• Build and support integrations among Epic Bridges, Corepoint, GoAnywhere MFT, and other systems.
• Analyze and design system specifications, map data, establish interfaces, and develop integration code, functions, programs, and routines.
• Design and evaluate data interchange formats and improve the physical design of integration solutions.
• Resolve and escalate integration issues while consulting with application teams, vendors, and customers.
• Document data policies, standards, procedures, and technical requirements.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree required.
• At least 5 years of experience developing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and debugging Corepoint or another interface engine.
• At least 5 years of experience developing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and debugging Epic Bridges interfaces.
• Expert knowledge in at least two integration areas, including HL7, XML, X12, FTP, TCP/IP, APIs, web calls, managed file transfer, Epic CareEverywhere, Epic Interconnect, or Microsoft SQL.
• Ability to analyze and design complex healthcare systems and communicate technical requirements in both technical and user-friendly language.
• Epic certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire, with two test retakes allowed.

Nice to have

• At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment.
• Experience with clinical or business areas such as Beaker, Willow, Healthy Planet/Tapestry, ERP, OnBase, Patient Access, Ambulatory, Epic Security, Data Courier, or Immunization Administration.
• Other relevant industry certifications.
