TL;DR

System Integration Engineer Ld (Epic/HL7): Developing, innovating, testing, maintaining, installing and debugging integration/interface solutions, middleware tools for clinical and business operations with an accent on Epic Bridges, Corepoint interface engine, GoAnywhere MFT, and interfaces for laboratory, radiology, billing, pharmacy. Focus on data mapping, establishing interfaces, resolving integration issues, designing new data interchange formats, and providing consulting on integration technologies.

Location: Rosedale Office Building, Fort Worth, TX, United States (onsite, first shift)

What you will do

• Analyze and design system specifications, modify system build, and perform data mapping for integrated solutions.
• Establish interfaces among Epic Bridges, Corepoint, GoAnywhere MFT, and other tools including laboratory, radiology, immunization registry, billing, pharmacy, dental, HIEs, and Health Plan.
• Develop and modify code, functions, programs, and routines; resolve and escalate integration issues.
• Provide consulting services to application teams, vendors, and customers on integrating information technologies into clinical and business processes.
• Design and evaluate new data interchange formats, improve physical design, and document data policy, standards, and procedures.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience developing, maintaining, troubleshooting and debugging Epic Bridges interfaces.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with Corepoint interface engine (preferred) or alternate.
• Expert knowledge in two or more: HL7, XML, X12, FTP, TCP/IP, API, web calls, managed file transfer, Epic CareEverywhere, Epic Interconnect, MS SQL.
• Epic certification(s) required within 6 months from date of hire (two test retakes allowed).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Health Care environment preferred; understanding of clinical/business areas like Beaker (lab), Willow (pharmacy), Healthy Planet (health plan), etc.

Nice to have

• Other industry relevant certification(s).
• Experience working in a cross-functional, collaborative environment.
