Associate Systems Analyst (MyChart/Digital Experience)

Location: Remote within the United States; occasional travel to WVU Health System facilities or affiliated sites may be required for implementations, training, and support.

What you will do

• Support the design, implementation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and optimization of software systems.
• Focus on MyChart, EpicCare Link, and Care Everywhere digital experience initiatives.
• Coordinate project scope, schedules, milestones, documentation, risks, issues, meetings, and status reporting.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, IT, business, and analyst teams to gather requirements and align solutions with patient and operational needs.
• Provide end-user support, classroom and one-on-one training, readiness assessments, and training content development.
• Define and track metrics for digital initiatives and contribute to innovative solutions that improve patient, employee, and physician experiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or two years of relevant experience.
• Foundational ability to analyze business needs, document functional specifications, troubleshoot systems, and support software configuration and implementation.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly, manage multiple priorities, collaborate with stakeholders, and support change management.
• Understanding of clinical data management and healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7, FHIR, and DICOM.
• Willingness to complete required certifications or proficiencies within 90 days after formal training.
• Ability to work remotely while maintaining reliable communication; occasional travel to affiliated facilities may be required.

Nice to have

• Experience with clinical, business, imaging, or web application systems and advanced workflows.
• Experience in inpatient or outpatient clinical settings and healthcare system implementations.
• Knowledge of cloud-based healthcare applications, web services, reporting tools, and data analysis.
• Experience with systems administration and process or workflow optimization.
