IT Asset & Inventory Analyst

TL;DR

IT Asset & Inventory Analyst: Day-to-day operations and strategic planning in asset lifecycle management, IT procurement, software licensing, and inventory with an accent on purchasing, allocating, and tracking hardware and software. Focus on vendor liaison, cost minimization through standardization, and coordinating IT projects.

On-site in Kansas City metro (Leawood, Overland Park, Kansas), reporting to the office 5 days per week.

What you will do

• Handle administrative duties for IT asset management, procurement, and inventory including purchasing, allocating, and tracking hardware and software.
• Order equipment to maintain inventory levels and serve as IT vendor liaison.
• Review and maintain records for licenses, warranties, and service agreements.
• Minimize costs through product standardization and track quality throughout product lifetime.
• Coordinate and execute IT-related projects and share knowledge to support team environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. and college degree required.
• 2+ years of experience in IT asset management required.
• Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred).
• General knowledge of IT software licensing; working knowledge of MS Enterprise Agreements preferred.
• Ability to analyze requirements, create project plans, multitask, and demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.

Nice to have

• 2+ years working with shipping vendors.
• Working knowledge of budget concepts, financial project planning, and cost estimation.
