IT Service Operations Manager (Infrastructure): Leading internal IT support and service delivery for a fast-growing company with an accent on MSP management, device lifecycle, and operational scalability. Location: Salt Lake City, UT. Must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence due to ITAR/EAR restrictions.

What you will do

  • Lead and coach a team of IT support specialists and manage the relationship with the external MSP to ensure SLA attainment.
  • Own the end-to-end user lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and device provisioning logistics.
  • Manage the full device lifecycle: forecasting, procurement, configuration via Intune, and asset tracking.
  • Design and optimize ITSM workflows in Jira Service Management to improve service delivery and reduce repeat issues.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Security to ensure endpoint hygiene, access controls, and procurement discipline.
  • Oversee IT procurement and vendor relationships for hardware and software entitlements.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in IT support, IT operations, or end-user services.
  • 2+ years of direct people management experience leading an IT support or service desk team.
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence is required (ITAR/EAR restrictions).
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, and Entra ID / Azure AD or Okta.
  • Proficiency with ticketing/ITSM platforms such as Jira Service Management.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

  • ITIL 4 Foundation or similar service-management training.
  • Microsoft certifications related to M365, Intune, or endpoint administration.
  • Experience with Windows Autopilot and zero-touch endpoint provisioning.
  • Experience in regulated environments such as defense, aerospace, or fintech.
  • Experience with Jira Assets/CMDB and service metric dashboards.
