TL;DR
Sales Executive (Life Sciences/SaaS): Driving new revenue and expanding existing accounts for a validated statistical computing platform with an accent on proactive prospecting and consultative selling. Focus on building pipeline using AI tools, managing full sales cycles, and partnering with Solution Engineers to deliver tech-forward demonstrations.
Location: Hybrid - Must be based in Boston, MA (2 days a week in the office)

What you will do
- Proactively identify, target, and convert new opportunities across the assigned territory.
- Own the full sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, solution positioning, negotiation, and closing.
- Develop strategic relationships with existing clients to unlock upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage pipeline health, ensure accurate forecasting, and prioritize high-value leads.
- Collaborate with Solution Engineers to deliver technical demonstrations aligned with client challenges.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences to build brand awareness and pipeline.
Requirements
- Proven success in new business sales (hunter role) within SaaS, software, or tech-enabled services.
- Solid understanding of sales cycles, pipeline management, and deal progression.
- Experience using CRM tools, specifically Salesforce, for pipeline management.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Must be based in Boston, MA to meet hybrid office requirements.
- Degree qualified or equivalent commercial experience.
