Application Support Consultant

TL;DR

Application Support Consultant (Java/.NET): Responsible for day-to-day operations of an application portfolio including maintenance, stability, innovation, incident, change and problem management with an accent on vendor team oversight within outcome-based contracts. Focus on ensuring compliance with SLAs, technical delivery, risk management consulting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Location: 100% telecommuting, must be resident in the U.S.

Salary: $144,760 annual base

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day operations of application portfolio including maintenance, stability, and innovation.
• Oversee vendor team performance, ensure SLA compliance, and evaluate service delivery.
• Handle incident, change, and problem management; respond to user requests and inquiries.
• Coordinate software design, development, testing, and implementation with suppliers and project teams.
• Provide technical risk management consulting and ensure adherence to Voya standards.
• Identify opportunities for new services, improvements, and cost reductions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 5 years experience as Software Engineer/Developer or similar
• Experience with Java, VB.net, ASP.net, eWam
• Working with Windows NT 6.2, UNIX, Linux, or Solaris
• Cross-platform technologies: GitHub, Jenkins, XL Deploy, PowerShell, Salesforce, Oracle, DB2
• Supplier service delivery oversight and quality review
