Application Analyst

TL;DR

Application Analyst (SaaS/Enterprise): Serve as resident expert on BRG’s enterprise applications for Accounting, Finance, HR, and Legal teams with an accent on support, configuration, security, and enhancement of SaaS solutions like Workday and Intapp. Focus on providing Tier 3 support, troubleshooting issues, evaluating technical solutions, and participating in IT change management processes.

Location: Offices in Washington, DC; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Emeryville, CA; Dallas, TX or remote. Candidate must be able to submit verification of legal right to work in the U.S., without company sponsorship.

Salary: $90,000-$120,000

What you will do

• Understand business and technical processes by working with stakeholders from Accounting, Finance, HR, and Legal.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and remediate enterprise applications and related issues, providing Tier 3 support.
• Evaluate and propose technical solutions to solve problems or improve functions.
• Plan and execute application installations, upgrades, and adjustments.
• Create and maintain knowledgebase, documentation, and best practices.
• Ensure application and data security; participate in IT change management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Finance or relevant experience.
• 2+ years in applications analysis, system integration, or software support.
• Strong experience with Windows stack (Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID), SaaS administration, IT customer support, and ticketing systems like ServiceNow.
• Legal right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience in legal or professional services environment.
• Domain expertise in Workday (HCM, FIN, Security), Intapp products (Time, Conflicts, Walls), document management (iManage, NetDocuments).
