Senior Oracle Database Administrator (Oracle): Manages, secures, monitors, and maintains enterprise Oracle databases including performance tuning, backup recovery, and security controls with an accent on high-availability infrastructure and system integration. Focus on administering Oracle 12c/19c/21c, developing stored procedures/triggers, and overseeing replication across multiple sites.

Hybrid position located in Quantico, VA

$140,000 - $150,000 Annually

What you will do

• Implement and maintain database operations, physical design, performance tuning of indexes and databases.
• Review database designs, provide backup recovery, and recommend enhancements.
• Administer Oracle and other DBMS, enforce standards, audit and modify data using SQL/PL/SQL.
• Oversee scheduling of backups, notifications, replication between SQL Servers and remote sites.
• Assist in developing SQL and web-based databases, review technical designs and documentation.
• Create high-level reporting systems and research new database technologies.

Requirements

• Clearance Required: TS/SCI
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II (Sec+CE, SSCP, CND, CCNA Security, etc)
• High School with 9+ years or commensurate experience
• Extensive knowledge of Oracle Database Architecture (12c, 19c, 21c etc.), SQL and PL/SQL
• Strong command of Linux/Unix environments

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), Data Pump, and SQL Developer
• Experience with backup and recovery strategies (RMAN)
• Experience managing Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC)
• Experience with migration from on-premise systems to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
