What you will do
- Support design, implementation, and management of multi-sector fixed income portfolios for life and P&C insurance clients, aligned with liability profiles and risk tolerances.
- Execute portfolio rebalancing, cash deployment, and trade implementation in coordination with senior managers and teams.
- Perform relative value analysis across fixed income asset classes, considering spread, capital efficiency, and liquidity.
- Monitor portfolios for compliance, concentration limits, and performance; conduct stress testing and risk reporting.
- Prepare investment reviews, commentary, and responses for client inquiries; participate in meetings and due diligence.
- Coordinate across asset teams, risk, operations, and compliance to resolve issues and improve workflows.
Requirements
- Location: Atlanta, GA required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, or related quantitative discipline.
- 4–7 years in fixed income portfolio management, analytics, or related investment roles; insurance experience preferred.
- Solid foundation in public/private fixed income markets (corporate credit, securitized products).
- Working knowledge of insurance frameworks (NAIC RBC, SAP, GAAP, ALM).
- Progress toward or CFA completion strongly preferred; strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.
