Salary: $49,000 to $76,000

What you will do

• Create and maintain wire templates and book daily bank transactions including EFTs, deposits, and payments.
• Perform daily and monthly bank/control account reconciliations for Canadian, USD, and FX accounts, resolving unmatched items and stale cheques.
• Coordinate with Operations, Credit, Compliance, and Finance for EFT, PAC, and wire payments; issue cheques, EFTs, wires, and deposits.
• Respond to audit inquiries, liaise with banks and auditors, and handle payment queries with internal teams and vendors.
• Monitor payment transmissions, upload bank files, review billing files, and assign trade settlement instructions on Bloomberg.
• Identify process improvements and deliver high-quality customer service to internal and external clients.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in financial services, preferably banking; reconciliation experience required.
• Completion of 3-year post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of economic markets; ability to work with tight deadlines, high accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to work in a team and independently.

Nice to have

• Bloomberg knowledge.
• CTP (Certified Treasury Professional), accounting designation, or equivalent.
