Location: Must be based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada (Hybrid schedule).

What you will do

• Manage credit and equity cash, synthetic, and derivative order flows in alignment with Global Best Execution Policy.
• Provide best-in-class market intelligence to the Investment Team to highlight portfolio impacts.
• Mentor staff to ensure service consistency and foster a strong team culture.
• Partner with compliance, middle office, and settlements management to minimize operational risk.
• Develop and manage strategic industry relationships with counterparties and technology providers.
• Consult Portfolio Managers on optimal trading strategies and identify new investment instrument opportunities.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in equities and fixed income trading.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the investment industry.
• Relevant multi-asset trading experience specific to Canadian, US, and Latam markets.
• Proficiency in algorithmic technologies and industry platforms for order execution.
• Strong analytical skills and professional presence to mentor staff and interact with investment professionals.
