What you will do

• Read and understand architecture and functional requirements, collaborating with systems engineers and architects.
• Produce implementation specification documents and have them reviewed by the team.
• Create and integrate RTL and C source code, algorithms, and functions.
• Perform designer testing, debugging during simulation and regression verification.
• Assist verification team with coverage, provide assertions and waivers.
• Craft timing constraints, participate in synthesis, timing analysis, and backend reviews.
• Contribute to lab validation of products and prototypes.
• Report status updates regularly.

Requirements

• Electrical or computer engineering degree at BEng/BSc or MEng/MSc level.
• Proficiency above intermediate level with System Verilog for design.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Familiarity with digital verification methods.
• Experience with digital design synthesis, STA, timing closure, and asynchronous clock crossing.
• Good understanding of timing/power/area analysis and trade-offs.
• Highly motivated self-starter, team player, able to solve complex technical problems methodically.

Nice to have

• Experience with digital silicon design backend process.
• Experience with digital design for low power.
• Experience with DSP design.
• Knowledge of IEEE, Ethernet, or OIF standards for optical communication.
• Experience with GIT for source code management.
• Experience with Jira for planning and tracking.
• Familiarity with Python, Make, bash, C, C++, SystemC.
