TL;DR

Account Manager (Automotive): Supporting sales by conducting data analysis, managing resources, and fostering client relationships to achieve JD Power automotive sales objectives with an accent on pipeline organization, RFP responses, and contract negotiations. Focus on client communication, customized research presentations, and process standardization across sales teams.

Location: Remote – USA (Nashville, TN or Herndon, VA)

Salary: USD$80,000 to $90,000 per year

What you will do

  • Work with Account Executives to maintain Salesforce pipeline for accurate forecasting and revenue reporting.
  • Collaborate with finance to validate product data and track monthly revenue deadlines.
  • Prepare RFP responses and support statements of work, approvals, negotiations, and contract activation.
  • Manage daily client communications, field questions, and coordinate meetings.
  • Create customized research presentations with strategic recommendations and deliver to clients.
  • Manage client access to platforms, coordinate training, and identify process improvements.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of customer service experience in the automotive industry
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service and account management
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiating skills
  • Effective time management
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Experience with Excel, Microsoft Teams, Salesforce, PowerPoint
