TL;DR

Account Development Manager (Automotive): Managing the development and growth of profitable business within existing public and private sector customers with an accent on contract retention and marketing visibility. Location: Hybrid. Presence required at Watford HQ. Open to candidates based in Watford, Cardiff, Manchester, or Newport.

What you will do

  • Manage and grow profitable business within existing public and private sector clients.
  • Conduct roadshows and virtual webinars to present schemes and benefits to end-users as a product expert.
  • Build and maintain relationships across multiple levels, including HR, Payroll, and Finance.
  • Collaborate with Strategy, Commercial Partnership, and Marketing teams to ensure robust scheme awareness plans.
  • Assist Business Development Managers with tenders, presentations, and smooth client onboarding.
  • Monitor customer aged debt and propose legislative or structural changes to scheme structures.

Requirements

  • 1+ years experience in Account Management/Development within Automotive or Employee Benefits sectors.
  • Experience managing clients with a minimum employee base of 500+.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills for both face-to-face and remote delivery.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel (v-lookup and pivot tables), Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to work from Watford HQ to meet business and customer needs.

Nice to have

  • Experience managing Director-level stakeholders in HR, Payroll, and Procurement.
  • Proficient knowledge of current UK Tax and NI rules and legislation.
  • Ability to prepare raw data and present findings via MI packs in quarterly review meetings.
