Location: Remote anywhere in the US. Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. Approximately 25% travel to conferences, client sites, and demonstrations.

Salary: $120,000 – $140,000

What you will do

• Evaluate clean-tech solutions for technical readiness, scalability, and market fit.
• Conduct techno-economic assessments and translate vendor claims into realistic expectations.
• Assess startup maturity, manufacturing potential, and technology differentiation.
• Identify utility or industrial applications and define adoption pathways.
• Build business cases, pilot concepts, and presentations for investment decisions.
• Engage with startups, labs, accelerators, and partners to source technologies.

Requirements

• Demonstrated commercialization analysis experience evaluating technologies for market fit and scalability.
• Strong product and technology evaluation skills, distinguishing claims from performance.
• Understanding of business models, value chains, and startup funding mechanisms.
• Experience in macro-feasibility assessments combining technical, financial, and market factors.
• US work authorization required; no sponsorship.
• Comfort with ~25% travel.

• Background in national lab commercialization, accelerators, or clean-tech programs.
• Experience in industrial processes, utility programs, or energy pilots.
