What you will do

• Lead cross-functional efforts to transition optoelectronic products from R&D to production, aligning with design intent.
• Manage prototype requirements, clear-to-build activities, and support manufacturing partners through build phases.
• Oversee production performance including yield tracking, cost-reduction, and BOM accuracy.
• Guide failure analysis, troubleshooting with engineers and contract manufacturers.
• Define production test and process requirements with R&D, Operations, and manufacturing teams.
• Conduct DFM reviews for PCBs and drive pilot builds, forecasting, and packaging improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Opto-Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronic Engineering.
• 7+ years experience in design, manufacture, or test of optoelectronic products.
• Proven experience launching complex optoelectronic modules into production.
• Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management and end-to-end NPI processes.
• Ability to solve technical challenges in fast-paced environments and collaborate with global suppliers.
• Ability to travel as required to support manufacturing transfer and production.

Nice to have

• Experience with multifunctional, globally distributed teams.
• Advanced data analysis skills and database proficiency.
• Familiarity with optoelectronic manufacturing processes.
• Strong communication for sales and customer support.
• PFMEA review or maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of return-material processes and root-cause analysis.
• Additional languages (French, Spanish, Thai).
