What you will do

• Support the development of medical device hardware, including FPCB design, sensor specification, and circuit simulation.
• Lead hardware verification activities by defining tests, creating plans, and assigning tasks.
• Perform testing and verification of hearing instruments, focusing on EA, EMC, magnetic, wireless, and audio quality.
• Provide technical project leadership and coordinate responsibilities across team members.
• Collaborate with Requirement Engineering to ensure specification testability.
• Coach and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Biomedical Engineering, or Physics.
• 10+ years of experience as a Senior Hardware Developer in a medical device engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of acoustics and analog/digital electronics.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model in Kitchener, ON.

Nice to have

• Experience with Altium for FPCB design.
• Experience with acoustic modeling.
