What you will do

• Interpret complex corporate action announcements and publish them accurately for clients
• Assess client impact, prepare entitlement calculations, and process payments
• Research and adjust discrepancies across depositories and handle physical certificate exchanges
• Act as SME on corporate actions, deliver customer service to internal/external stakeholders
• Participate as project lead/member/SME in projects, initiatives, audits, and process reviews
• Interact directly with clients and third parties, follow controls, and assist in procedure creation

Requirements

• Completion of Post-Secondary Education or equivalent experience
• More than 5 years in securities/brokerage, minimum 3 years in entitlements processing including tax/legal implications
• Extensive knowledge of financial transaction processing, settlements, corporate actions, income, reconciliation
• Good working knowledge of trading and operations in brokerage industry
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem resolution, and ability to manage priorities in time-sensitive environment
• Effective communication with stakeholders and proven customer service skills

Nice to have

• Knowledge and experience with Dataphile
• Completion or enrolment in Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or IFIC course
