TL;DR
Director, Talent & Workforce Strategy (Biotech): Shaping enterprise talent management processes including talent reviews, succession planning, organizational design, and strategic workforce planning with an accent on skills-based organization design and AI-powered solutions. Focus on conducting supply/demand scenario analyses, integrating data-driven insights, and enabling internal mobility and external talent acquisition.
Location: Hybrid role based out of Bridgewater, NJ office, option to work remotely most of the time with in-person collaboration. Domestic travel 5-10%.
Salary: $177,000–$242,000 Annual

What you will do
- Own enterprise talent management processes, evolving them into continuous data-enabled conversations integrated with business planning.
- Drive Strategic Workforce Planning with FP&A, conducting supply/demand and scenario analyses for capability risks and long-term needs.
- Assess emerging workforce trends including AI impact and evolving work models to keep organization future-ready.
- Develop toolkits and guidance for leaders and HR partners on talent, skills-based, and workforce planning practices.
- Partner with People Analytics and Operations for dashboards and predictive insights on workforce capacity and risks.
- Cultivate cross-functional partnerships to embed skills into career frameworks, role architecture, and workforce decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business, I/O Psychology or related field.
- Minimum 10 years HR experience, including 5-8+ years in Talent Management, Workforce Planning, OD, or HRBP; Pharma/Biotech experience a plus.
- Experience designing novel talent systems and processes, leading Strategic Workforce Planning with scenario planning and skills-based forecasting.
- Strong organizational design knowledge including job architecture, team design, and capability frameworks.
- Experience implementing AI-driven talent solutions, strong analytical skills translating data into action plans.
- Consulting, facilitation, communication skills to influence leaders; experience with Workday or similar HRIS.
