Location: Hybrid office and manufacturing environment in Albuquerque, NM. U.S. Citizenship required due to ITAR; must qualify as U.S. person (citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
Salary: $101,000 - $143,325

What you will do
- Lead the Program Electrical Engineering/Subsystem IPT, owning technical baseline including requirements, architecture, design, and interfaces.
- Plan and execute design, analysis, schematic/PCB development, prototyping, integration, verification, and production support.
- Drive risk/opportunity management, technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR), and EVMS control accounts with schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Manage cost/schedule performance using EVMS metrics, prepare CAM reports, variance analysis, and recovery plans.
- Support supplier selection, make/buy decisions, manufacturing/test engineering for producibility, and proposal efforts.
- Coordinate with Systems, Mechanical, Firmware, Assembly, Integration/Test, and Program Management (~20% travel).
Requirements
- 10+ years in engineering management with direct EVMS implementation.
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience as CAM or IPT/technical lead on complex programs with cost/schedule responsibility.
- Strong full product lifecycle knowledge: requirements, design, analysis, integration, test, production.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Jira/Gitlab; excellent communication for leadership presentations.
- Leadership skills, problem-solving, matrixed organization experience; ability to obtain U.S. DOD Clearance.
Nice to have
- Master’s in Electrical/Systems Engineering.
- Formal EVMS training, major design reviews, MBSE/digital engineering.
- Current DoD security clearance.
