What you will do

• Lead and manage a team of 5–10 software engineers, providing both people and hands-on technical leadership.
• Drive execution of software projects from concept through release, ensuring quality and alignment with product goals.
• Provide technical mentorship and career development support in system design and complex debugging.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, systems, product management) to define technical boundaries and integration strategies.
• Enforce software development best practices, including architecture reviews, code reviews, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
• Participate in roadmap planning, resource allocation, and performance evaluations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of software development experience, with 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong background in C/C++ for embedded or systems-level software.
• Must be based locally in Agoura Hills, CA.
• Not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS), device drivers, and hardware-software integration.

Nice to have

• Experience in the ATE industry or semiconductor testing.
• Proven track record in managing multi-site teams.
• Experience developing software for hardware instrumentation.
