Location: Multiple (Albuquerque, NM, Huntsville, AL, or National Capital Region/Washington DC) or Remote in Texas. US citizenship required.
Salary: $152,000 - $223,650

What you will do
- Lead capture strategy for AI-enhanced Laser Weapon Systems across Army, Air Force, and other DoD agencies.
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders in Huntsville, Albuquerque, and the National Capital Region.
- Shape proposals and capability briefings highlighting proven advantages in Laser Weapon Systems.
- Build a qualified pipeline aligned with Army modernization and soldier lethality priorities.
- Provide market intelligence and competitor assessments for Directed Energy Systems.
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure customer requirements are translated into operationally relevant solutions.
Requirements
- 12-15 years of Business Development experience, with 10+ years specifically in directed energy.
- 5+ years of defense BD/capture or acquisition experience.
- US citizenship required.
- SECRET security clearance required (TOP SECRET preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a relevant discipline.
- Demonstrated success winning contracts within USSOCOM and engaging with Army or USAF acquisition offices.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree.
- Technical experience with Directed Energy and other DoD systems.
- Familiarity with C5ISR, fire control, active protection, and AI/ML applications in defense.
