TL;DR

Business Unit Leader (Energy Retail): Plan, direct and manage all aspects and performance of the Business Unit for Marketflow, Meterflow and Networkflow/Optiflow products with an accent on P&L control, growth strategy, sales and delivery. Focus on leading established teams, developing product roadmap, overseeing R&D projects and building senior relationships in strategically important accounts.

What you will do

  • Plan financial and resource aspects of the BU with full P&L control and achieve key targets.
  • Direct sales to energy sector, manage employees and partners to meet objectives within budget.
  • Develop growth and product strategy, ensure delivery against roadmap and high customer satisfaction.
  • Build relationships with industry partners across UK and beyond for sales and delivery.
  • Implement risk management, ensure compliance with legislation and execute company directives.
  • Provide governance to R&D, delivery and support projects, including escalations and reporting.

Requirements

  • Extensive senior level experience in Energy Retail, Smart Metering and UK energy regulatory framework.
  • Senior management experience with P&L, R&D, sales, product and delivery in software business.
  • Degree or equivalent in management, business or IT, or comparable experience.
  • Proven track record in growing business, financial management and meeting revenue/profit targets.
  • Excellent leadership, decision-making, interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of statutory, legal and contractual obligations in UK energy markets.
