What you will do
- Conduct industry and competitive research to identify software businesses meeting investment criteria.
- Engage target owners, shareholders, and executives to guide them through the acquisition sales process.
- Develop and grow deal pipeline via outbound sales, trade shows, broker events, and database leads.
- Maintain deal funnel, prospect data, and reporting in Salesforce CRM.
- Recommend strategies to senior leadership for identifying new prospects aligned with growth goals.
Requirements
- 2+ years of sales or business development experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated success in cold calling, prospecting, and sales processes
- Self-motivated, organized, able to plan schedule and monitor performance goals
- Degree in business administration or related field (asset)
- Prior B2B software experience (asset)
Nice to have
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and software businesses
- Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM
