TL;DR
Business Development Representative: Generating and qualifying new business opportunities through outbound and inbound prospect engagement with an accent on early-stage qualification and pipeline creation. Focus on conducting discovery conversations, scheduling qualified meetings for sales reps, and meeting activity and pipeline targets.
Location: In-office in Tampa, FL and Fargo, ND, or Remote across the rest of the U.S. All North American new hires are onboarded in person at Tampa office (typically 3 days).

What you will do
- Proactively identify, contact, and qualify prospects via phone, email, LinkedIn, and campaigns.
- Conduct initial discovery calls to assess fit, needs, and interest.
- Schedule qualified meetings for Sales Representatives.
- Maintain CRM records with activity, notes, and lead status.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to align messaging and improve leads.
- Meet activity, meeting, and pipeline targets.
Requirements
- Previous BDR/SDR or similar experience (not entry-level)
- Demonstrated success setting appointments for sales reps
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable with phone, email, and social prospecting
- Structured sales process adherence with adaptability
- Organization, follow-up, and time management skills
- CRM experience (Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot preferred)
Nice to have
- Experience at Microsoft reseller, systems integrator, or tech services firm
- Familiarity with Microsoft solutions (Dynamics 365, Business Central, Azure, M365)
- Supporting mid-market or enterprise sales teams
