Location: Fully remote from anywhere. Occasional travel for team meetings or events (up to 20% domestic and international).

Salary: $222,000–$303,000 Annual

What you will do

• Ensure clarity in goals and objectives for FME, enable decision making, prioritization, and team readiness.
• Create long-term roadmap for field medical capabilities, incorporating regional needs, customer expectations, and best practices.
• Develop, track, and optimize annual budget for FME aligned with programs and regions.
• Drive consistency in core field capabilities across US regions and therapeutic areas, co-create global solutions.
• Lead US and global forums for alignment, best practice sharing, and decision making on processes, policies, and systems.
• Partner with Field Medical Leadership, Medical Training, Insights, Strategy, Clinical Development, IT, Legal, Compliance, and Commercial Effectiveness.
• Spend time in the field to understand customer and MSL needs.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, NP-C) and 10+ years of Medical Affairs experience including 5+ years of field medical excellence experience.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience.
• Advanced understanding of field medical systems, tools, and technologies.
• Proven track record in global environment across US, European, and Japanese markets.
• Deep understanding of regional healthcare systems and compliance environments.
• Strong leadership presence, influence skills, strategic thinking, prioritization, and problem-solving.
