Senior Principal Foundry Engineer

What you will do

• Lead product ramp-up during new technology introduction, foundry process transfers, and new fab enablement.
• Collaborate with foundries, NXP technology groups, business lines, customers, and other stakeholders to qualify and release processes.
• Own front-end process safe launch activities and drive manufacturability and yield improvement during ramp-up.
• Lead and steer development, transfer, and production ramp-up projects toward timely completion.
• Make decisions on process integration, resource planning, schedules, logistics, and supplier relationships.
• Manage process transfers within foundries and NXP joint ventures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in physics or electrical engineering.
• More than 13 years of experience in front-end IC process integration within foundry production or development teams.
• In-depth knowledge of IC devices and processes, with strong understanding of yield enhancement techniques and data analysis.
• Fluency in spoken Mandarin is required for regular communication with Mandarin-speaking suppliers.
• Fluent English and strong communication, influencing, and discussion-steering skills.
• Hands-on experience leading teams and development, transfer, or production ramp-up projects.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of HV/BCD and NVM technologies.
• Experience maximizing leverage from foundries.
